Minnesota Knife is a family owned company originally founded as Sleepy Eye Industrial Knife by Butch Proell in 1980, and has since grown and is now run by Butch’s son Jason Proell. Although Minnesota Knife’s service area has grown, the quality of service hasn’t changed. We still offer a superior knife grinding service and provide our clients with knives of high quality steel that have been known to keep knives in action for up to 5 times as long as competitors’. On top of this, we pick up and deliver knives to ensure that you get the best possible service available.
