The Mainstream Cabinets Showroom is conveniently located at 306 Main St. in Mapleton, MN (just 16 miles south of Mankato). The showroom has Frameless, European and Traditional Face Frame cabinets, in standard overlay, full overlay and inset styles. Various wood types and countless door styles are on display. Many choices of stain and paint colors, some with glazing and distressing techniques, are also there for viewing. Counter tops are also displayed, including: pre-formed laminate, custom laminate, Cambria and granite counters. Under-mount sinks can be seen in granite and even in laminate counters. Other sink types complete other displays. Cultured marble vanity tops show the most popular lav shapes and colors, including faux granite. Numerous hardware choices are shown and others available. The showroom is very inviting and has many creative ideas built-in. Regular changes are made for you to see new ideas, things that keep the showroom very current and diverse.

Kevin Boertje is the owner and CEO of Mainstream Cabinets. He is a Minnesota Licensed Remodeler and is also Lead Certified. Before starting a cabinet business in Bemidji, MN, he worked for Architects and Engineers as an Architectural Draftsman. He has built several homes as well. Yet his passion is in Kitchen Design, specializing in designing layouts or products to fit your space, needs and budget. Kevin is very detail-oriented and takes pride in his finished product and customer satisfaction. He applies his artistic talents to each venture and his patience is greatly appreciated on every project. Kevin provides more than just a cabinet estimate. He feels the customer should be aware of all the other costs that a project may involve, even if they are doing parts of it themselves. Depending on the project, Kevin may outline the various tasks and costs required by others to complete a project. His good-standing relationships with many subcontractors allows him to complete each job in a timely and professional manner. He also works with subcontractors that the customers desire. Kevin’s custom shop is located in rural Wells.
